Rapid Fire Poker Sample — One Hand, One Takeaway

What Rapid Fire Poker Is

Garrett Adelstein built Rapid Fire Poker as the fast lane next to his 50-hand flagship. Instead of 30–45 minutes deconstructing every street, each of these 10 hands gets roughly ten minutes (he admits on camera he rarely kept to it) and locks in on the single decision that mattered: why he made it, and how to spot the same opportunity in your own game. Everything is delivered in the “Part 1” style — theory and exploits explained in plain English, with the livestream footage on screen and no solver grid.

The villains are the ones you know from the streams: a wildly tilted Andy in a $100/$200 ante game, Rampage 400 big blinds deep, Dylan “the villain” Gang, Ruske, Jackie, Brandon, and a three-way pot with John Cohen and main-event champion John Cynn. Garrett’s rule for the whole course: focus on the highest-EV takeaway in each spot and move on.

Five Takeaways You Take Straight to the Table

  • One data point can beat every blocker argument — when the read is strong enough (a tilted opponent, a proven limp-fold pattern), Garrett lets it override textbook combo logic.
  • A sample of one is sometimes enough — how to size up a limper after a single orbit and attack with hands as weak as Q8o.
  • “GTO says close” is not a reason to call — the solver’s marginal spots are exactly where live reads turn a call into an easy fold.
  • Your image sets your sizing — the same value hand gets a different bet size depending on what the table thinks of you.
  • Checking is a weapon — especially multiway, against players who bet whenever you show weakness. Pair it with our guide on exploiting passive players with bet sizing.
